焊接工艺评定：通过对执行工艺焊制的试板进行力学性能和其它性能的试验，验证工艺规程的正确性和合理性。
焊工资格评定：由需要进行评定的焊工焊制符合规定的试板，对试板进行无损检测和力学性能试验，来验证焊工加工完好焊缝的能力。
